June 2022 will mark the Queen’s 70th year in reign. To mark this monumental event the Parish will host a weekend of community events.
Saturday 4th
2.30pm – 5pm – FREE games on the green, FREE cream tea’s, local producer stalls, charity raffle
5pm onwards – FREE cider, wine, pasties and sausage rolls in the community hub, 70 year history of Broadwoodwidger photograph display, music
Sunday 5th
4.30pm onwards – Bring and share picnic tea in the area around the community hub, crown jewels treasure hunt for the children
6pm – Family thanksgiving celebration songs of praise in St Nicholas Church
The Parish Council have already planted a number of Rowan, Maple and Crab Apple Trees to mark the event.

Photograph Exhibition – Broadwoodwidger over the last 70 years
As part of the celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee a photo exhibition will be displayed in the Community Hub showcasing images of Broadwoodwidger over the last 70 years.
